Re: collecting Legumes


I've the same problem -- when to remove them.

My best luck seems to be when I wait for the pod to dry completely
on the plant -- for what I harvest that usually ends up being 
late fall/early winter. 

Right now, I'm waiting for the baptisia to drop it's leaves.  I'd 
have expected that to be around now, but the weather has been too
wacky.
