Hi All--I was at the Perennial Saturday at Ames IA yesterday and talked to
Ceres for a while, she is having some computer trouble, and also hasn't been
home much due to some gardening trips she has been making.  I left the Ames
campus a few minutes before a tornado was sighted near the football field
where a crowd was gathering to watch the IA-CO game which was to begin at
6pm.  Lots of folks looking for shelter.  Bunches of wind and some real
damage done to a couple of small towns in the area.  Apparently 7 tornados
were either spotted or touched down in that area.  I'm quite sure that Ceres
is fine.  Rich, back home in NE

I think the only one we have to slightly worry about is Ceres...but she is
67 miles from where the one hit (Stratford), but only 21 miles from the
other (Woodward). Most time tornado's hit a defined area... one block
destroyed, yet the next is fine. Not like Hurricanes that damage miles
together!

Hopefully she will check in soon....
