I would think those birthdays would be a somewhat rare occurrence.

Didn't do much for my b-day beside catching the snake. Shredded three heads of cabbage and set the sauerkraut jar to fermenting. Cleaned, mailed some seeds to a woman in Oregon. Took a nap. :) Ms Fatma has her fall semester cold-cough, so we didn't go out.

Thanks, Donna. Don't know about the Garden Fairy, but Squinty
brought me a snake this morning. Into the living room. Took several
minutes to corral it and get it outside. Then, around noon, when I
was out watering the tomatoes, she had another one. So I turned the
hose on her, she jumped up in the air, and the snake escaped. I hope
this is the end of it, but somehow doubt that.
