Unfortunately, it's not. There are 10 cats in the "colony" with Angus. Otis and Precious are dogs. There are also an additional 4 cats who live in my bedroom. I tried incorporating the "colonies" at one time. That turned out to be a bad idea.
I now warn unsuspecting guests that Tennessee Williams had no imagination at all. He simply got his story lines from observing fellow residents of the Mississippi Delta. I would hope my home resembled something from Eudora Welty; sadly that is not the case. :o)

My niece and her husband are moving back east, and asked if we wanted
to adopt their cat. Moe is an adult, and very friendly. DH would
really like to, but we already have three, ages 10 to 2. All previous
introductions were kittens. Any hints on integrating adult cats in a
household? We will also be gone each month (for varying time frames)
Jan - Mar, so there will be times we will not be there to mediate.
Now, off to Colorado Springs to share the holiday with two or our
daughters. Happy Thanksgiving all!
