Somehow doubt it'd keep the gnawers out. Hardware cloth would be better; might have to anchor it with thin-wire ground staples.

I have a big box full of fine net bags I've been saving over the years for who-knows-what. They are the big yellow nylon bags that daffodils come in. I'm thinking about netting the pots. Do you think this would be a deterrent? They would allow moisture and air circulation, would they be strong enough to keep the little buggers out?Kitty neIN, Zone 5 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT
