Auralie,
It is always good to hear from you and what you have growing in your garden.  I love Pineapple sage.... I loved to plant it with Mexican Bush Sage.  They always looked great together.  It was just so late in the season before they would really make their big show and then the freeze would come and take them out.  I used to try to cover them up for the first couple of cold spells just to prolong the beauty!

Thanks for your concern.  I miss all of you, but just don't have the patience to
keep up with Facebook.

I would love to hear about everyone's gardening year.  Mane has not been very
good, but a few things stood out this fall - my grand Joe Pye Weed, and   for
the last couple of weeks a nice stand of Pineapple Sage (Salvia elegans) which
the freeze two days ago took down.

Thanks again for asking.

Auralie

Good thinking, Donna. I think she is closer to New York City than Buffalo, but I have been thinking about her a lot lately. Auralie, are you out there? I know I have been freezing. Now we might be getting severe weather this weekend.
