I see that Theresa's got it in one!
Also, people shop for plants in the spring, and that's what's blooming, so
they're reminded of it. And most people impulse-shop at the big box stores,
where your choice of trees is Dogwood, Leyland Cypress or 'Bradford' Pear
most of the time.
