Yeh, I had a siamese who would get MAD if I threw his mouse in the trash. He would run around and have a fit, meowing all over the place and trying to get into the trash compacter. I've never seen a cat get so worked up over his "catch" like this one did.

My old cat did the same to me. Looked at me like I was hopelessly slow when
I tossed her offerings in the trash can.
