Could you give me some advice on transitioning my scraggly little Meyer lemon from its outdoor existence (in a pot) to inside for the winter? DH tells me it needs to be repotted, but it is in a 10 in pot already, and what passes for its "trunk" is only about 1/4 in in diameter. Surely it can't need it already? It is also losing leaves. Am definitely not very good with houseplants....

That's the good news this morning. The Buddha's hand citron that I thought was a goner a week or two ago is now flush with new growth. Maybe Frances or Jeanne gave it a little nudge. Of course, it could've been just extended transplant shock. The root ball looked like it had been in the pot forever when I planted it so I did some pretty violent ripping at it. Could be that increased the shock. Now, I think I'll mix up a couple of gallons of Pam's wonder drug [Maxicrop] and give it a drenching.
