Re: Re: Bulb sale

All the Foxtail Lilies sold (Eremurus), most of the daffs and crocus,
all the Ipheion (Spring Starflower) and chionodoxa (Glory of the Snow),
all the Hyacinths and Lilium, and all but a few Allium. Last year they
were demanding more tulips, so I got more, but they wanted Narcissus
this year. waht can I say?

We really can't plant leftover tulips here, the rodents get them. so i
think I'll be potting them up. The Hort Ed is planning a garage sale for
mid april next year (we used to have them before I became an MG, but not
since then) . So I think some forced bulbs might time out pretty well
for that. I have several Triumph types left and they force well.
However, I wouldn't really call it forcing exactly. Just potting them up
and overwintering the pots. I 'll have to work out the timing for
bringing them out of their hiding place in time to bloom for that sale.
