That's really how it is here. We've occasionally had these freak Oct snows,
but they've always melted off by the late aftn.  November snows, too, are
likely to just disappear.  I should watch what I say though as in recent
years, we have had more snowcover, but still it has stuck only in Dec-Feb
and sometimes March.
