OT, the political stuff

I live in an area that is generally considered to be a Republican Party safe house. Our Congressional Representative is Katherine Harris, the woman who cooked the books with the chads. I am registered as an independent because I like to be wooed as a "swing" voter--every four years someone asks me what I think. Doesn't happen much in the years in between.

Today, I received five [count 'em, five] snail-mail blurbs from the Bushies, all glossy and gassy [as in "written by gas bags"] and not convincing to me personally, although persons enthralled by American flags and waving first ladies might like them, might even think they were cool, like Dale Ernhart, Jr, is cool.
