OT bulldogs

Aren't some of you bulldog fans?
This was in today's paper (somewhat abbreviated as I'm a terrible typist):

Crawfordsville, IN - A first grader was attacked by three American bulldogs
as he got off a school bus near his home, authorities said.
John M. was taken to StC med center and was reported in stable condition
late Thurs. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
Bus driver Brenda S, who ran to help the boy after the attack said 2 dogs
"were just playing tug of war with him" and a third dog joined the attack
after she tried to pull him free. After she did free the boy, one of the
dogs tried to get on the bus; she kicked it to block its entrance.
"She had to be a hero, but she had to care for the other kids on the bus and
it sounds like she did both flawlessly," said the school's asst
superintendant.
A family friend said the third bulldog belonged to the boy's family and
didn't attack until Brenda approached.
The first 2 dogs fled to a neighbor's trailer and were later siezed and are
under quarantine. The owners were cited for not having proper vaccinations
for their dogs.
