I will look into that species of hypericum. If you are using it under a crepe myrtle, then it is full sun plant, right? If we keep on where we are headed with global warming, we will soon be able to grow the best of the crepe myrtles here without winter dieback. Got to love all the dwarfs on the market now.

I saw it mentioned in a magazine...while many hypericum are native here,
this one is not. It is described as a lovely groundcover with three season
interest as the leaves turn reddish purple in the fall. As I have been
working on multi-season interest, I thought it might look nice on a low
berm under a crepe myrtle, Natchez.
