Thanks Theresa, I believe you are right.  I had looked at some photos of A.
setaceus, but they seemed more coarse than this plant.  The photo you
provided looks just like mine.  And I'm sure your description is right.  It
is very common, it is sold as annual filler here for potting arangements and
I suppose too for florists' use.
Thanks.  Now I can write up a sheet on it.
