Looks a lot like the stuff my stepmother used to rip out by the ton when we
lived near the beach (southern California). Does it have long tendrils to
climb with? It was horribly invasive as I recall. I haven't seen it growing
since. Might not be the same thing, I was pretty young when we lived there.

It is the fern that is used in all the florist bouquets! I believe it
is some variety of asparagus fern- specifically asparagus setaceus.
