Re: still having technical difficulty

I'd say your intern was what I refer to as "Planned Parenthood Poster Kids."

Donna, we had an intern in our office this summer. You could never be sure he understood you because he always had earphones on so he could listen to his ipod while he worked. One job he had was sleeving microfilm, a lot of it. The woman who instructed him just told him what to do and never checked back with him. The day before he left I had my first need to pull a piece of that particular film and was unable to use it. He had numbered it all wrong. He had put all the film in backwards and upside-down. She had to renumber it it all but we can still use it backwards and upside-down.
Oh, and he lost the keys to the door to our records archives.

Currently, we are experiencing the dumb syndrome at work.... Tell
someone what to do- have the repeat it back to you so you can ensure
they understood ... and they still do it wrong.

Sorry, but lately I think everyone just puts their time in to get a
paycheck... very few care about what they do, want to learn, or even
have a remote interest in why they are there.

Oooooh -- can I ever identify with that! Since I have been around Home
Depot stores so much I have learned that sales people, aka associates,
generally know little to nothing about the products they are supposed to be
selling. Seems stores today focus more on titles than education.
