Jim, I remember doing that, too.   I always remember our iceman.   He had 
huge muscles & always wore just a sleeveless undershirt.   This was before 'wife 
beater' shirts were about.
     Also, remember the wood cookstoves not in a cabin but in the home 
kitchen.
     Theresa, does your energy company offer a pkg protection plan on your 
home appliances?   We have chose to go this route rather than extended 
warranties.   A sm fee is added to our monthly bill & if anything needs repairs we make 
a single call to the same # for everything from the stove, washer/dryer to 
the furnace and the labor & parts are no extra cost.   When a replacement is rqd 
a rebate is given with the amt based on the # yrs your item has been covered.
