So glad your nephew's on his way back here Cathy. I received this from my sister:
Sam is on countdown now: Less than 2 months before he returns to the States. Can't come soon enough for me!
Keep praying, everyone! It's been a hard 2 weeks for Sam and the 21st MP CO. They're angry, depressed, and scared.

This is the obit for Sam's best friend in the 21st MP CO. Joe and Sam were going to be in each other's wedding.

SAM IS OK!!

His base was attacked by mortar fire last night. No Iraqi or American deaths or injuries. How amazing is that!

Kitty, That is so terifying! The things Sam has seen in his young life...it
is hard to imagine and will change him. I have to wonder how many of our
soldiers still feel they are on a worthwhile mission. My nephew is on his way home
right now after his second tour. Kathy
