Thanks, Bonnie. That's a good idea. They're not ripe yet, however. When I checked them yesterday, the fifth hand had just emerged from the bloom, so we've still got a ways to go.

From Recipes for Life:
Peel and puree very ripe bananas in a blender with no added liquid. If
desired, apple, any berry, pineapple, pecans or walnuts may be added.
Continue to puree until desired consistency is reached. Spices which
enhance the flavor are: cinnamon, cloves, coriander, nutmeg, lemon,
orange, honey or maple syrup. Pour onto a flat dehydrator sheet (do not
use wax paper, plastic wrap or aluminum foil) and dry at a low
temperature.
