So did she ever get down and wander around or did she stay under your hair?

But ya gotta know...she is SO sweet. When Neal and his girlfriend were
here, they could not get over how sweet she is. She sits with you and
watches TV. I have a picture of them holding her while they were watching
the Saints play football last week. The other chics will "tolerate" us
holding them, but she actually WANTS to be held. When I open up their
container in the morning to change out the water she jumps up on me or on
the edge and runs over to me. When she hears my voice somewhere in the
house, she chirps for me until I come in there to see her. It's adorable.

Goose has a man in her life now so no time for humans anymore. She does
come up to the house to eat and honks at us every now and then, but he is
really possessive of her and always puts himself between his woman and
the
humanoids. He doesn't hiss, but you can tell he does NOT want you near
her. He stretches his neck wayyyyy out there and starts honking at you.
He
always lets her eat first and is very protective. I think she had eggs
this
year but the darn raccoons got them I'm sure. Next year I'll have to find
her nest and move her so that doesn't happen - but it's hard to do when
she
stays out by the ponds. Too many places to hide them.
