Oh- I like the baking soda idea. The insides of the drawer are unfinished, so I'm not inclined to use any liquid. I haven't seen any sign of mildew. The dresser may be valuable- not sure- it is solid mahogany. Really- I'm just very, very attached to it, but I don't want my clothes to smell funky from being in it. Did I tell you that the idiots who moved it lost 2 boxes of stuff- nothing valuable $$wise, but my mom's recipe box was in one of the boxes. That isn't replaceable.

Hi all-
This is a totally nongarden question, but since you are all such a wealth of info, I hoped someone might help. I now own my mom's old dresser and the drawers are very musty smelling. I've tried putting lavendar in the drawers- no help. So I've left them all over for the past couple of weeks that has helped some, but still not great. Anybody know how to de-must solid wood furniture?
