Re: Rain and orchids

Cool. When you get a chance to re-pot it, try to divide it. May take a year or two for the pieces to recover, but would sure be worth it. What color? For some reason I'm thinking white.

Speaking of orchid blooms, I have a mature phalenopsis that doesn't
know when to quit. It blooms non-stop, all year. Today, it has an
actively blooming spike that has produced two branches, and I just
noticed a completely new spike emerging. It won't even stop long
enough for me to repot it.

very large bougainvillea on the side of the house, that is also
blooming. I guess I need to check all of the other orchids once the
rain stops.

Anyway, it's nice that the "orchid rescue" project we started 4-5
years
ago is beginning to pay dividends.
