From what I heard at the GWA symposium, it's supposed to appeal to upscale,
traditional-minded but up and coming young southerners. It's also supposed
to survive, which I doubt with the economy, but maybe. Take a look at their

House & Garden, Better Homes & Garden - I can understand. But Garden &
Gun? It claims to be the "Soul of the New South"
