Re: ABCs

I'm going to be one of those "slammed" registrars, Bonnie. I'm urging everybody around here to vote early. I voted the second day, and the employees at the election commission said we had had a record number of new registrations between the August primary and the close of registration October 6. I have already taken the day after the election as a personal day from work. Luckily, election day is a regular day off for me.

I voted yesterday...didn't want to be in long lines on election day and
take the chance of broken equipment.  The registrars said that even the
early voting was high.  I am thinking the registrars are going to be
slammed.  Makes me fill good that our voting participation is going to be
up there.  For a world recognized democracy we have gotten very lax.

grandson also voted -- for the first time.  He was very psyched.
