It has been quiet. All the groups that I pay attention to have been just as quiet, though. So I've been amusing myself watching episodes of that old saturday matinee serial "Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe." Aah, to be 8 years old again.
I groused about the weather--cold and damp--for 2 weeks. It must have done some good. It going up the mid-70s today [it's 74 right now].

Well, thankfully, the sun came out today. I was dangerously close to growing mold on my body. I told my husband that even a shot of Patron gold was not enough to make me smile last night. The weather had been bringing EVERYBODY down around here. Rain, rain, rain, cold, cold, cold. NO sunshine to be found anywhere. Can't get outside, ground is saturated. Can't mow the yard or pastures. My dogs don't even want to go outside to go to the bathroom, now THAT is bad. On 10/16/09, Aplfgcnys@aol.com <Aplfgcnys@aol.com> wrote:Where is everyone? I haven't seen a Chat message in days. It's bad enough having the most dismal, miserable autumn weather I can ever remember - rainy and in the 30's for the past two days and predicted to continue throughout the weekend - but not hearing any life from this group makes me really depressed.
