Wonderful; I love serviceberry; it also feeds the birds. I'll get a check out this week. Sounds like they made an excellent choice. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Bill Morgan <wmorgan972@ameritech.net> Date: Oct 3, 2010 8:53 PM Subject: Tree for Bonnie's Memorial To: gardenqueen@gmail.com Hi Pam, We selected a tree for Bonnies memorial. It is a 3= inch Serviceberry. According to the local nursery, it will have white blossoms in the spring before the leaves come on and then berries that the birds love in the fall. It will grow to about 25 feet and will be a perfect addition to the main entrance of the church. The nursery promised that they will plant it before the end of December, but I suspect it will be put in much sooner. We will be placing a plaque on a small boulder in front of the tree.
