I had not checked email for several days, and upon logging in .... tons of garden chat messages. So good to know that you are still out there!!! I am still in Quincy, IL. Still an active U of IL Master Gardener. Have to say that my 2.5 acres are  getting away from me. (Suspect energy issues) Continue to accumulate anti social succulents (cacti and agave) and just brought them in for the winter. One of my Texas native cacti had 10 beautiful pink blooms in succession this summer. Did a quite a bit of canning (a variety of pickles) this summer: cucumber, and green bean. My pawpaw trees bloomed and produced fruit, but all were stolen by either possums or raccoons before they ripened. Anyone have ideas as to how to prevent this? Would really want to taste one!
