Hi all,  I need your brain power. I have a strip of garden along a brick retaining wall that used to get more sun, but now the Chinese pistache above it has grown and it is quite shady.  As a result the lavender that was growing there is not happy and needs to be replaced.  It does get drip irrigation, but still dries out more quickly than the other parts of the garden on that irrigation valve.  As a reminder, I am in Sacramento.  Looking forward to the brainstorms you all share with me!
