It’s a cool, dreary day here in Zone 5b, NE Indiana, expecting rain. Tomorrow should have a bit of sunshine. Anyone care to share what’s happening in your neck of the garden in late October? Still Blooming: October Daphne (Sedum sieboldii) Maximillian Sunflower (perennial) Spiderworts Japanese Anemones – Max Vogel & Bodnant Burgundy Garlic Chives Crocus The Conqueror Calendula, Nicotiana, Jewel of Opar (Talinum), & Verbena bonariensis Corydalis lutea – also a white variety Toadlilies – hirta & Myazaki Just planted Fritilaria persicaria Green Dreams Paeonia Bartzella Allium Moly Jeanine Dug to store (pot up in March to sell April-May) Lilium lancifolium Mirabilis jalapa (will dig after freeze) Lilium henryi (will dig after freeze) Kitty |
