RE: Bermuda grass wars


Yes, I do have the papery orange things, Daryl.  They don't seem to start
easily from seed, but they don't hesitate using their runners to take over
an area.  :>)  My Chinese lanterns are in a part shade area and come to
think of it, mother's Chinese lanterns were also in part shade.  Would they
need more shade in the south perhaps?  Just a thought.

You have Chinese Lanterns? The papery orange things? My Mom used to grow
them when we lived up north, and we'd dry them for arrangements. I've never
had much luck with them here in the south.
