Re: Bermuda grass wars


Daryl - Lily-of-the-valley cannot take heat. It's the May birth month
flower and I tried to grow it four years running. It melts out by July 1
here even in total shade w/ copius irrigation. It can't take any heat
zone higher than 7. We're 9 here. I grow leucojums now to get the look
of them, but not the scent, alas. It's ok I guess, I can't afford
emeralds which is my birth month birthstone. So I enjoy the green that
is in my kitty's eyes and in my garden. One makes do as they can!!
