Re: soil types and pH/also question/early winter signs?

Got a break today Tony - thanks to the rain. My friend Elaine (Jesse's
friend too) has been trying to get me over there for the longest time
but I've been watering 24/7. Actually got to go over there for a few
hours, eat lunch, visit w/ the family and drink a glass of vino. Played
w/ the dogs (her's and her daughter and son-in-law's) and took it easy
for a few hours. Nice change I'll admit. I had lemon verbena toner made
up for them, she had an aloe vera pup potted up for me. Nice afternoon.

I kind of got in trouble for feeding her daughter's dog tidbits under
the table though. He's a beagle and slighty pudgy - but he has those sad
eyes and is just sooo cute when he begs...
