I agree.  You can transplant Echinacea about any time that the ground isn't
frozen and there is a bit of weather left to let the roots settle into their
new home.

Tony - I have transplanted them any time after last frost in the Spring
and up to 3 or 4 weeks before fist frost in the fall or winter depending
on when it shows up. No problem. These gorgeous babies are tough indeed.
Matter of fact, will be digging up an errant seedling for my neighbor
Joanne this weekend. Got a small blue salvia coming to put in that spot
(next to a mature white p.c.) These are one of the few things you can
plant or transplant here in Summer. Very few plants will stand for that!
