Actually, you were reacting to the increasing strength of the allergen in the shots. And yes. DH's first advice is to "get rid of whatever you are allergic to!" Allergy shots are the the next best option. If you react to the shots, you can usually slow down on the increases in strength.

I believe I'm developing a cat hair allergy but it doesn't matter. I will never get rid of this baby. She's been sleeping w/ me in the warm weather, which she never did before this year. And I am waking up w/ flooding sinuses every morning. It's OK. I don't like it, but I will live w/ it. Fortunately I'm not vain about my appearance because I'm looking like crap in the mornings these days.
