Ragweed is a sneaky plant; so unprepossessing it hides easily in
taller plants. It, not goldenrod, is the culprit this time of year;
emitting billions of pollen grains that are carried on the wind.

Here's one of a mature plant just starting to flower - you have to
look really close to find the flowers...they look like fatter tips to
the stems:
