go for - I'm building quite an assortment of things they don't totally devour.
Makes for an unconventional-looking garden, but at least things grow.

try. How about Standing Ginger, Saruma henryi? Morning sun would be perfect
for this plant. Easy to grow with not real demands. Lovely felted heart
shaped leaves resembling our Asarum canadensis only standing upright on a

three feet diameter at maturity. It has small three-petaled flowers of lemon
yellow that persist on and off all spring into late summer.
