If you possibly can fit it into your schedule, the MG course is so worth the
expense in time and money!

You not only get a bunch of great reference material, you get a wonderful
education, you learn where to look for answers, and not the least, you'll
meet some truly wonderful people.  I'm going to Lincoln (70 miles) to our MG
field day.  It's sponsored by the University of Nebraska Extension Dept.  We
will have classes (quite informal) on at least 12 topics, you can pick 4 to
attend.  Field trips through the UN greenhouses, talk with the research
personnel about whatever, and schmooze with fellow MG folk.  Now, how can
you get a better deal than that for $25.00, and it includes lunch!!!
By not taking the training, meeting the folks, and doing the volunteer
stuff, I feel you are really shooting yourself in the foot.
