House across the street--the one with the Statue of Liberty in the front yard--is loosing shingles from its roof. I went out and checked ours a few minutes ago, and we are okay so far. Except Beans is yowling to go out. I've told her that with gusts at 60 MPH she'd likely get blown into Hardee county, but she doesn't believe me.

All of our pots and hanging baskets, which we set on the ground yesterday, have not budged. I can't see any damage when I look out the windows, although a lot of our trees, especially the schefflera and the jatrophas are sure bending over in the gusts.

Looks like Jeanne hit directly the same area that Frances did. E-Gads,
my heart goes out to those effected... again.... Got to be scary for
those folks since the debris has to be flying around.

One accounting from the Cocoa beach area claims that Frances would work
in spurts- pounding 20-25- min at a time, Jeanne they say, just doesn't
let up.

Almost 5:30 AM and it's beginning to get gusty. Jeanne appears to be
on 
the same track that Frances took. The National Hurricane Center places
the eye just north of Lake Okeechobee and on a northwest line to
Tampa. 
If it continues on that track, we expect some wind, some rain, and not
much else.
