Yes do be sure to think about what you are taking on the plane. My sister
just flew from CA to TX and was suprised when they took a tube of lipstick, colgne,
hand cream and a never opened liquid vitamin. She was able to get the
airlines to box them up and put them underneath. I guess we will have to go
without lipgloss when we fly now. I am always using metholatum sticks ... I
guess I will have to pack them for underneath.

I am very sorry your daughter will miss being there for your GD, but her
loss is your gain.  LOL!!!  I can't help beyond what the others have said
regarding airline tickets, but remember to check what is banned from
carry-on with the airport before you leave and give yourselves plenty of
time to get through security.  Other than that, just enjoy your trip and
your GD!!!
