They're still showing 39 tonight, then 50s and high 40s for lows after that thru 9/29. If I thought it might get closer to freezing I'd probably just throw a sheet over the Cordyline, Echium, Polianthes, and Acalypha. Not that concerned about the rest.

My deck thermometer said 36F this AM, and there was light frost in
low lying areas out back. None on the deck though. Took my orchids in
two days ago and dragged the banana into the garage last night. Am
also ready for cold weather!

Donna, we had frost on the rooftop yesterday morning and today it
is on the
ground.   I started moving plants in early but then the frost hit
early so I
have a garage full, sheets covering others but many have been
repotted and after
a few days of adjusting to indoor environment will be moved
indoors.   I need
to reseal the grout on the garden room floor before I get many more
moved
inside.
     I am ready for cold weather this year!   It was a rough summer
for
containers.
