RE: Burr.... it's getting cold out!

It is currently 43 here this morning as well, Donna. I expect to be able to
set everything else out for a few weeks too, now that that little cold snap
is passing. It's always expected that we will get a few days like this
during this time of year. Then the latter half October usually gets chilly
enough that the annuals and tender plants will not be around because there
are too many areas to try to cover, although I have seen a year or two where
I had things blooming into November.

Blessings,
Bonnie

43 here now.... feels warmer than this time yesterday. Going up to 67 today,
rain tonight, not expected to get so cold anymore. (Thankfully the rain is
tonight and not the last two nights- or gosh, it might have snowed here....
now that would be depressing this early in the season!)

I was trying to preserve some annuals that will not be overwintered....
just trying to get past the couple days of cold weather so I could enjoy
them for another month or so with our normal chilly, but not cold fall
weather.

You are all making me homesick for Maine and snow!! I'm sitting here in
shorts- but at least it is cooler!
