Thanks Donna,
just finished the scan and checking for updates. Seems I'm ok.

You got it Jim... it is the X_Y_Z syndrum.....It is nearly impossible to figure out who is infected but since many of you opened that message... you probably are now! BTW, it never showed up here, although some of my settings rids me of any known virus stuff along with most of the spam....I have to admit, this isp is pretty darn good at catching it all and not adding the mail I want to see to that file.... My suggestion is - run your updates- (BTW, Microsoft released an early version yesterday, instead of the usual monthly wait)- run your AV...- then scan your computers.... if nothing shows up.... doesn't mean anything, but gives you some piece of mind LOL! BTW did anyone copy Chris? Never mind, I did, he might need to watch his system- most of these virus loop- even if he isn't infected (and I doubt as a pass thru he would be), but it still will strain his system. But I'm not "Jim" anywhere that I know of. Island Jim, yes; James Singer, Yes. But no Jim Singer. Also, Norton and I are reasonably certain the Mac hasn't been usurped.
I can't figure out what {Disarmed} means; the full headers seem to show it came
into one of the Mallorn machines with that already in the Subject. I'll go
out on a small limb and suggest that either David's or Gilbert's machines
has been compromised. Both the gardenchat address and 'Jim' are likely to
be in David's address book (Jim, do you and David often exchange private
mail ?), as well as that of Gilbert, come to think of it. That sort of points
to David, at first blush. As to X stealing Y's address to send mail to Z,
that makes my head hurt...

using a person's (groups') e-mail address to send things to others.

Strange, isn't it. If not a member, wonder how they got access to the
list?... Chris?
