I picked him up from the vet this afternoon. She suggested I try to
slowly
reintroduce him to the colony since he is now "different." You should
have
seen the look on his face with his blue Elizabethan collar in place. I
must
say I was thoroughly cursed by him. At any rate I have put him in
Otis's
huge (and now unused) crate with his own food, water and litter box. He
is
in the middle of all the other cats, but nobody can bother him until he
is a
little more sure of himself. I'll probably keep him corralled until his
stitches and collar come off in two weeks. I'm going to give him his
antibiotic and pain medicine now.
