But you never know just what a hurricane will do.  I am expecting a frenzy
over IKE next.  Personally, thinking it has been rotating for a long time
already, after landfall alot of it's punch is gonna be gone...which is bad for
cuba, but good for the US.
 
I believe in having basics in your house always to last couple of days.  Just
this spring, a sunny day with only a chance of rain turned into a tornado here
and I was without power for days...

Yah it's one thing if there's really going to be an emergency but people
sure tend to overreact. I know here when we get one of our rare
snowfalls the grocery stores are packed with people buying bread and
milk. As if the 2 inches will cut us off from civilization for a week.
Sheesh.

Raining and wind getting gusty here-We're fine-turned the a/c way down

case the power went out so the house will be cool. LOL! The Marines let

off at noon so all non-essential personnel could get home. Stopped by

dramatic. They all act like it's a snowstorm coming or something and
