Everyone should check their own state. In Indiana, the last date to register is October 6. In a few states you can actually register right there on Election Day.
I'm secretary of my neighborhood association. I print a newsletter 3 or 4 times a year. This weekend I just put one out for the main purpose of notifying people that dues collection will start October first, but I devoted much more space to getting the vote out. Page 3 of the 4 pages covered deadlines, locations, procedures, and schedules. Absentee & In-Person voting. I included a Voter Registration form and an Absentee ballot request. Then on 1/2 of the 4th page I covered particular urgencies for women and young voters as well as a big bold statistic that 17% of people who didn't vote in the last election said it was because they missed registration deadlines.
I know everyone on gardenchat will vote, but you need to spread the word to others. It is so VERY important this time around.

ready-to-print-and-mail format.

I found out that my name-change never got processed by voter
registration- and so it was a good thing I checked.  I've filled out the
form and mailed it today!
