address change

Hi, I finally got tired of excruciatingly slow dial-up service and
having to reset many of my options every time Microsoft updated. So, I
bought a MAC laptop, a router so I could connect anywhere in the house,
and signed up with Comcast. So, my new address is:

I had a young college man help with the yard and gardens for about 7
days. He was a hard worker...had to tell him to take a break and drink
something...and he ended up taking 2 tons by weight of brush and vine to
the landfill.


My arm is doing much better...Dr. says with this third surgery it is a
good as it gets so it has slowed me down considerably...no more lifting
40 lb bags. Also, I am now part rooster but my Clemson relatives and
neighbor still accept me. Over the years, I have worn a small spot on my
knee. It is the spot where my right knee touches first when I go to
kneel down. To keep it from getting worse, I have to take three shots
made from rooster waddle every 6 to 9 months. It does make a difference.


Our garden did well this year...good crops of garlic, onions, figs, and
raspberries. So, so of tomatoes and cantaloupe. I think it is because of
a wetter and cooler August...especially the second half.
