Bummer.
Any chance she could snag a netbook? Our local big box had one for $199 the other day. If I didn't need more graphics capability, I'd snag it in a heartbeat.

Yeh...she lives out in nowhereville and getting good service is really
difficult for her, and now her comuter is friend.  She's not a happy
