thanks.  yeah, the plumber said when they raised the house it made those
joints so tight that it was only a matter of time before they gave way.  he
said they have plenty of "give" in them now.   there is still some
galvanized under there so I told them to come up w/ an estimate on replacing
the rest, since I'm off that week between Christmas & New year's.  but
hopefully everything else will be ok until then.  I'm sure God got a giggle
out of my plumbing prayer, LOL.
