This was our 3rd hottest summer on record here, someone told me. No 100s, I don't think, but lots and lots of 90s and the very worst humidity. I didn't get much of anything done. Even w DST giving us longer light, it was too friggin hot out at 8pm. Today was wonderful. I worked outside all day. Potted 100 plants and planted a dozen new ones. Finished up in the dark at 8:30. Felt good.

We had 65 days of over 90 between June 1 and August 31, and it's been in the90's almost every day this month. I am ready for fall. d----- Original Message ----- From: "BONNIE_HOLMES" <bonnie_holmes@comcast.net>To: <gardenchat@hort.net> Sent: Sunday, September 12, 2010 8:53 PM Subject: Re: [CHAT] Florida questionRight, it's that way here when we have temps in the 90's; 6-7 a.m. is the best.--------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT
